About Us

First Bites Speech Pathology

A Melbourne-based speech pathology practice dedicated to supporting babies and children who find feeding, eating and mealtimes hard. We support families across Melbourne's West from our clinic in Yarraville, in your home and Australia-wide via telehealth.

Our Approach

We believe mealtimes are about so much more than calories. They are an opportunity for children to build trust, connection and independence, and for families to share positive experiences around food.

Our approach is practical, personalised and family-centred. We provide evidence-based feeding therapy tailored to your child’s individual needs, while placing a strong emphasis on caregiver education and upskilling. We work alongside you to build your confidence, understand what’s behind your child’s feeding challenges and develop strategies that can be used in everyday mealtimes.
